We've been busy

We've been getting ready for craft shows. Lacey is not happy to have to stay home. It can be difficult to leave her, I'll admit.

It's hard being short. Pooping and peeing can be a challenge when the snow is this deep. It's supposed to be "tapering off", but no sign of that yet. Lily will be coming over later. Then there'll be playing in the snow. Maybe. We'll see.

Quit my job at the Census, and retired again. Lacey made me do it. She didn't like it when I rushed off in the morning. This morning was much more to her liking. Mine too.

Sleep-over with BFF Lily

OK, yeah, I'm cured. I used to think I wanted a second dog. They have fun when they are playing in the yard, racing around, neck biting, etc. But when they're in the house, and bored....not so much. Two dogs is twice as much work as one. Actually, I'm thinking it might be three times as much work as one. And then there's the jealousy. I thought it would be Lacey who would be jealous. No. Lily is the one who gets jealous of any attention I give Lacey. Then Lacey gets torqued at that, and then neck biting and howling and moaning and groaning ensues....IN the house. Lily is a wonderful dog, but I can't wait for her to go home.
